I love using subliminal mind programs that also use binaural beats to help bring your brain into a receptive state. I have a nice pair of Sony MDR's that fit nicely over my ears and give a true tone so you know that you are receiving the audio as it was intended. Because of the nature of this type of audio, subliminal and mind entrancing, I do not want my headphones adding any boost in bass or other dynamic changes.
I have another pair of earbuds that tend to hurt my ears during the mind entrancement session. The simple solution is that if you are going to be using binaural beats, subliminal audio and other sensitive sounds it is best to go with an over the ear type headphone. I talk more about the benefits of these headphones and the best Sony ones as those are what I use.
Best Brain Bargains: Finding the Right Program for your Goals
I have lived with an obsession of sorts since about my sophomore year of high school. That fall I came across something very scintillating in my father's closet..... Kevin Trudeau's Mega Memory Program. From that night forth I was addicted. I started to ask for self improvement books for Christmas and by college time my credit card was often maxed on programs design to improve my brain: memory, meditation, relaxation, wit, sleep, reading, creativity, laws of success, starting your own business, trading stock like a pro.... anything I could get my hands on that I thought would give my brain an extra pop, give me a personal edge so that I could understand my life better and how to get what I wanted out of what was presented while manipulating my own brain and thoughts to help in obtaining goals.
I will write weekly on a particular program or method that I have tried that I feel was worth the investment. While my evidence is anecdotal as I am not going to waste time taking my own data when there are online programs to track that for me, the idea is to get others motivated to the right ideas and right product when confronted with the endless sea of these magic books....
I will write weekly on a particular program that fell short of my expectations and should be avoided either for its own failings or for the qualities of a rival product or system.
I will often commentate on a program I am currently trying so that you can see the process of evaluation that I go through when deciding an ideas value.
